1. Compliance Alerts: NEW FEATURE: Visiting Aid can auto send via SMS message alerts to caregivers when compliance item(s) are coming due. If you are interested in activating this feature for your organization – please submit a Support Ticket. We will then arrange a meeting to discuss the workflow and activation process. (NO extra fee for this feature)
2. Data Audit for Schedule: NEW FEATURE: When you click on and open an individual Schedule there is a tab “Data Audit” that will show any changes to the schedule when and by whom. Changes such as time changes and staff changes.
3. Employee Dashboard and Compliance Summary: NEW FEATURE We are so excited to present to you a new Dashboard. This is Phase 1 – The Layout. Coming next will be hyperlinks to the data and ability to filter by department or office.
Go to Employees and then click the Dashboard link.
It will summarize you employee states – number active, applicants, hold, inactive. Number of terminations thus far in the month and number of new hires thus far in the month. The lower portion are compliance status summaries (coming in next phase).
4. A New Authorization Alert: If a new authorization is entered with the same authorization number that is already entered for the patient, a verification alert will pop-up upon saving. The allows the user to validate that the duplicate authorization number is a valid entry.
5. Attachments To enhance the system the ability to attach documents has been added to several areas of the system. Communication Notes and Employee Compliance Items:
5 A. Communication Notes. – Patient and Employee
a. Step 1: Add the Note via the patient’s or employee’s communication tab. Save.
b. Step 2: Edit the note and attach the document(s). Save.
c. A paperclip will show next to the communication note to indicate there is an attachment. More than one document can be attached.
5 B. Employee Compliance Attachments: Attachments may be added to the employee’s Medical Compliance Items and to the CHRC requirements.
Medical Compliance Attachments: Go to the employee compliance page – click on the compliance item that the document needs to be attached and upload the file. SAVE.
CHRC Attachments: Multiple documents may also be attached to the Criminal Background Check on the Compliance – Employment Requirements page.
Click on the Documents upload button to upload OR to view the documents attached:
5 C. Employee Pay Rate page: Under the Payroll section there is a tab: Document Upload – where documents related to employee pay rates may be added.
6. Employment Status History: The full history of when an employee status is changed will now show in the Employment section of the employee’s General Info page.
